As the recession continues to bite and there is no sign of it picking up anytime soon Bodywork Plus Ltd is extending it’s ‘Workshop for rent‘ scheme providing ample opportunities to a wide variety of car body repairers and car enthusiasts alike.

In 2012 we are continuing to offer flexible car workshop space with varying rental length terms, from usage per hour/day right through to per week, per month or even quarterly if space is available.

“You find your own work and we will rent you some work space to do it”

If you rented your own complete unit you would have fixed costs to meet if you had work or not, this way you only rent space when you have work to do so it is more like a ‘pay as you earn’ situation.

Our workshop is in the West Midlands just off jun 2 of the M5. Close to Dudley, Halesowen, Oldbury, Sandwell and Birmingham we are only a few miles from quite a few main towns.

Workshop for rent is the perfect workshop rental solution. With your own work supply you can rent as much or as little space as you need, for as long as you want to get your work done.

Business pressure often occurs when you have a complete unit to yourself, the bills keep coming in even when you have no income.

We take away that worry, once you are accepted on our rental scheme you just book your space in advance then you have your work space ready to go when you need it, simple.

What do you get from the workshop for rent opportunity?

As a basic package we offer tiled floor work spaces, with a dust extracted DA sander system and an air supply for your tools.

Basic package rates: £60 per day (8 hour day), £250 per week (40 hrs week), £800 per month. Quarterly can be made available or longer on request.

For an additional cost (per usage and T.B.A) you will get the full use of our:

Spray booth hire (time booked)
Panel stands for painting panels
Infrared drying lamps
Spraygun cleaner
Car O Liner car bench or quick pull dozer
Four poster ramp
Welding equipment
Storage cages for car interiors
Engine hoist

We do not supply hand tools like sockets, spanners, screwdrivers etc. Some sanding block will be made available.

So whether you are doing:

Mechanical work like clutch or engine changes

all the equipment is here for you. We will even offer guidance if you require it or the odd helping hand to finish your job. We have our own work and customers so offering you the space to do yours is what is on offer here. Anyone coming to Bodywork Plus Ltd looking for a quote will be quoted by us first.

FAQ’s of workshop for rent:

Q. Will I get the keys to work when I want, randomly?

A. No. The premises will need to be supervised and will be open from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. This will be changing to 24/7 as demand and regular customers build.

Q. Do I need all my own prepping materials inc primers, colours and clear coats?

A. Yes as we are only renting space. We do have materials and paints to buy if you are stuck but if you have your own preferred supplier then that might be best for you.

Q. Will I be charged if I need some support on certain car body repairs?

A. No, we will be happy to guide you and help you if you are stuck. Our aim is to rent out quality workshop space and provide an environment that will encourage you to come back. Being supported will assist you getting your car body repairs done to a high standard. We have a great name in the trade for quality and are happy to pass our tricks and tips on.

Q. Will there be an option of being supplied with some work from Bodywork Plus Ltd?

A. At times we have more work than we can get done on time and we dont like making our customers wait too long so yes there will be times when work will be offered to people renting our work spaces.

Q. I was looking for a workshop to rent to do my engine change on my car, do you only have workshop space for rent just for car bodywork?

A. No. Our workshop to rent spaces cover mechanical repairs too as we have a four poster ramp and engine hoist for you to use. We don’t have mechanical tools for you to use so you will need your own.
